Professor of architecture at the University of Kentucky, an architect and urban designer and a director of the Center for Sustainable Cities. He has been working on projects developing both the theory and practice of the sustainable city-region for more than twenty-five years.
He has conducted award winning sustainable city research and projects in Italy, Austria, China, and in the Middle East as well as in the United States.
