On June 29, 2017, all countries along the Danube celebrate the significance and majesty of this European river by various activities and accompanying events. The twin-cities of Štúrovo and Esztergom are no exception. Join us and celebrate the Danube through culture, the main topic of our EU-funded DANUrB project!
This interesting program also gives you the opportunity to engage in discussions with project partners, meet a wide range of stakeholders from 7 participating countries or to interview the authors of the interventions about what led them to design such solutions in these urban areas.
Do not miss this unique opportunity and kickstart your summer with fun and celebrations on the Danube River.
To find out more about the project in itself, you can consult the interreg homepage here.
OIKODROM within the DANUrB – Danube Urban Brand co-funded by INTERREG has launched a call for participatory art interventions in at least 3 Danube towns. experimentation with non-verbal forms of communication and learning.
The submission deadline is on April, 30th 2017.

Our Ukrainian SPACES partner CSM published the book “Art in the city: connections and gaps”.
It examines interactions among artists and their physical surroundings, i.e. the city, and artists and urban populations in Kiev, picturing a utopian cultural institution in Kiev’s’ city centre and a participatory project in one of Kiev’s main sleeping districts.
